Anyone get thier Draft position yet??? Who would you pick #1? I'm thinking S.Alexander...

Alexander only has a one year contract normally I'd say that's a good thing for player performance, but in his case it may be different. He's at his peak, he knows it the press knows it and more importantly the team knows it. He may play it safe trying to avoid injury until he has a long term contract. Or even worse he could decide to punish the Seahawks for not giving him the contract that he certainly deserves. Alexander is a class act though so I wouldn't expect the latter.

If I had the first pick it would certainly be Peyton Manning. He is gauranteed points all year long.

Alexander will be around for a while.

That is interesting, I didn't realize that he would become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season. Look for numbers on par or better than last year from him.

Tomlinson could be a serious consideration for a top spot pick.

Last year was a big off year for him, but the guy is sick talented... and you know he'll bounce back. He's also one of the best recievers out of the backfield and should catch a lot of passes as long as Brees can sustain even 2/3'rds of the ability that he showcased last year during the regular season.

Tomlinson's also a year younger and has fumbled less than Alexander. You can't really go wrong with either at this point though.

Either would be great, but I'd still take Manning. He's good for 3-4 TDs per game, he can stay healthy and his team will most likely be a strong playoff contender.

After having Manning last year, I'd love to have him again. Culpepper was a nice 2nd QB till Moss went down and he decided to try to run more than pass.

I had culpepper last year and won my league with barber n c mart.....Culpepper blew after moss went down....

Most of the mock draft i checked out had LT first and had manning 4-7. I jus cant wait for it to get started....need something to watch on tv...

I strongly disagree with the common overall rankings out there right now. In my opinion there are at least a dozen premiere running backs available and at least 10 more decent ones after that.

Quarterbacks are in much shorter supply I'd say maybe only 4 that could go in the first 2 rounds.

With my first pick I'd still get Manning.

the trend is always to pick a running back in the first but you can't pass up on manning.

#1 for the regular season, #4 after the post season. All my damn players were being rested the last weeks of the season.
