Okay, on a serious note, my sister and coworker have both met their other half on Match.com and they will probably get married. In my case, I only seem to meet one of two kinds of women online- ones that have *big* issues in their personal life or ones that have *big* issues in their professional life.
I'm not talking about a dating service. It's myspace.com, and there's some girls who I met on there that I think want to chill sometime.
The thing I'm worried about.... is I don't want to end up meeting a bunch of dirty swingers on there.

It's not all that bad...I've met a few (even the Princess), even a few with whom I've have remianed good friends (this is an enitrely different Oprah though). Havent met any psychos thankfully
I don't see any problem with it. I've met a lot of great people online. Have never dated anyone I met online but that doesn't really have to do with how I met them
I've ran into some crazies...but i've also ran into some crazies in real life too. It's sometimes easier to hide from the ones online than in real life
Did it myself back a few years ago. The only issue I saw with it was that the women I met (incidentally also on Match.com) were basically only wanting a one night (or several nights in a row sometimes) stand. They would talk about what they liked, good conversations, when it came time to meet, they always wanted to end the evening heading back to my place.
Not that I am exactly complaining here, but that's not my idea of real dating potential. If all I wanted cheap sex, I would hang out in a bar to meet women.

yeah, all those chicks with no pics and wanted to hook up...freakin fugly chicks in person! i know...first hand experiences. i still have mental scares, but the doctor said i'll be ok. just twitches now and then, but i've learned to live with em. my space is cool. partyman, it all depends on what ur looking for. if you just wanna have fun, go for it, but if you want a real relationship, look for people on friend's pages and ask them about the person ur interested in. life is too short, show off ur G and get some action man! stop being a nerd measuring the gas and mpg ur getting off of ur ztube and k&n filter
