NFL Players Are Hot Commodity Today.... in the Courtrooms
I was screwing around on ESPN.com today, and noticed that under the NFL section... of the top 6 recent stories being reported on in the NFL, 4 of them involved players involved in serious legal issues.
Here are the titles of the articles:
1) Redskins safety Taylor rejects three-year plea deal->He's supposed to be going to prison for up to 16 years for a serious battery charge upon 2 other people, which involved him hiding from police for 3 days before turning himself in.
2) NFL suspends Chiefs CB Eric Warfield for four games-> For multiple recent DUI's
3) Titans' top pick "Pacman" Jones arrested on assault charges->surrendered to police Wednesday on charges of assault and vandalism stemming from a nightclub altercation
4) Dolphins TE McMichael charged with battery, trespass->Miami Dolphins tight end Randy McMichael is facing charges for the second time in 13 months for allegedly hitting his wife and tresspassing on her estate.
I'm glad these guys are keeping themselves busy all offseason doing such constructive things!
