I hate this next song, right? I used to make fun of my best friend J.D. by turning this up on the radio and doing a one tone mimic of the singer. Then I used to call his cell whenever it was on the radio which was too often. After awhile I started to say hey it is "our song" which given how much he hated it was like a torture. Now when it comes on the radio I get all nostalgic and sing it for real.

This is no rebuke...I just happened to think of it when posting to Ru's last comment...and it reminded me of a day this winter when I had overplayed it during the week and then on the weekend the ex was like oh, I haven't heard you play that song in ahwile and I said "I've been playing it too much, not in the mood" but really I was thinking in my head "that is just too close to how I really feel for me to play it with you in the car". Yes I had just given him "the hard-faced three-word gesture" mentioned here. Can't believe that expression...such a sick songwriter, Morrissey.
