how dumb am i?? (girl related)

alright, so from some of my older "love" and "relationship" posts - you may or may not know that i had a real serious relationship i'm not quite over yet - and its been like 10 months.

well shortly after we had broken up - i was sorta "seeing" this girl for a few months. she had just broken up with her ex too. it was a "no strings attached" type thing and the first time i had really done that (i'm a relationship type guy - rare, i know) but it was perfect for what we both wanted. well she got back with her ex and things were over with us. then they broke up and i kinda helped her with it. we both helped each other with our exes.

almost to the point (sorry)

so skip ahead to now - we've been talking a little (nothing major) she calls me drunk sometimes. a few weeks ago i came home from a Phillies game pretty drunk and IMd her saying we should hook up again. i don't think she took it seriously since i was so drunk.

so now to the point of the story.
she was at the shore all weekend. calls me last nite to say hi then passes the phone around. that was it. then calls me back again.
and starts saying "oo remember when you came home drunk IMing me? that was funny. do you remember what you said?"
i was like "no, what?"
she says "you said we should hook up again - but you were probably just drunk"
i say "yeah i rememeber - i was drunk but i was serious"
so she tells me to come up. but shes like 1.30 away and it was already 10pm sunday nite - and i have work early monday.

so, dumbass me says "no" haha
so my problem is that i am basically told "come to Seaside Heights and you'll get some" - but i decline because its too late and i have work the next day. HOW F'ING DUMB AM I??? and believe me -- i need some ass BAD haha REAL BAD

but we talked on the phone again and i was like "i bet you don't remember this tomorrow" she says " i hope i do. i'll 'bet' you" so she says she'll call me at work today. so hopefully i didn't blow it completely. but i'm sitting here in my cube punching myself in the face thinking how i should have gone and called out of work today.

i've passed on opportunities because it was a work night. so, you're not the only one. and yes, i did kick myself for the next few days.

Forgive me for getting confused...I haven't been myself...I crashed in someone's spare bedroom Friday Night cuz I was too tired to drive...forgot I can't sleep on any other pillows but mine...disk in neck went out but today is the first day I had time to pay attention to it. I stayed home from work and slept late...feeling better and now on here I suppose I am playing hookie...

Regardless of the arrangement, it's hard to respect a guy who drops anything he's doing and comes running like a puppy. If he was 10 minutes away it's one thing, but to drive 1.5 hours after a drunk dial request for a booty call.....

yes she does.... but it is just very complicated i guess. maybe we just need time and to be seperated a bit....

here... i copied and pasted this from the 'theory on love' thread. - but i think you will recognize it when you begin to read it. and yes, some of my feelings are exagerated...

i've been in love once.
we dated for 2 years and were the world to each other. did not even look at each other in a negative way for the first year.
long story short we started not getting along as well (just minor stuff) but she couldnt handle it (she is very fragile) and still in college.
so it's been like 10 months now.. we talked all the time afterward and just fought a lot - like 10 X more than ever when we were together.

eventually i couldn't handle the situation. the fact that i never had a chance to fix what was wrong and that she is so goddamn shy and bottled up what was wrong until it was too late. so i feel like i never had a chance.

it got to be too much so i havent talked to her in 2 months now and blocked her screenname (after i asked her to block me and she said no and told me to and to unblock her when i was "ready") whatever... i need her out of my life if i can get over her.

but i am fucked in the head from her - other girls still don't do it for me like she did. (well even come close)
we were each others first and only real love. i know she is probably hating not talking to me and we'll see how she handles not hearing from me on her bday (july 4th)

so i am thinking as if it is over. but i know she has a lot of growing up to do (as do i) and i still know that one day things could kick back into place and i thought (and told her) that maybe the break up was needed to fix the problem however it has gone on too long and with little chances for me.
we did see each other once and acted very well together. but then right before i stopped talking to her we saw each other - and it was bad - i let out how i felt and it was not good.

so we'll see... for now i say "love sucks" although it is amazing when it is good. i know i will have it again with her or someone else. but i know this situation will bother me til the day i die (how bad is that?) kinda like a missed opportunity.

so theres my sob story... sorry it's so long
