Hey - congrats on the new job. Will that support your G habit? I need someone to support my sushi habit. Has been less than it wants to be lately.

Eating sushi is like rolling up five dollar bills and shoving them into mouth...anyone who offers to support my habit must be making some cash! I typically eat Spicy Tuna Rolls and a few veggies rolls on occasion. Spider roll now and again because my dad buys them and offers a piece.

I think I was born simply to confound my friends and drive this car and eat spicy food. Hot sex used to be on that list but when you give up love sex is harder to negotiate.

LC, you're a (good-looking) chick, it's really not that hard.

Well, there is a guy at work (several really) who make it clear that they want to sleep with me...but that is a pretty hard fixed rule. No work hook ups. I might just prefer something really simple but can't seem to land that without ending up with a full out pain in the ass boyfriend. So now time is spent on other things. Then I come on 6mt and get a little flirtation time...at least this place is good time fun!

I totally agree about not dipping your pen in the company ink (or dipping the comany pen in your inkwell, as it were). Friends with benefits can be tricky too. Easy for one side to lose sight of the original arrangement, and there are important rules that you have to be aware of to make it work.

Ugh...
Sushi...

I tried Sushi for the first time when I was in San Diego this past April.
I couldn't tell if I was at dinner or on Fear Factor.

Needless to say, I thought it was utterly disgusting.... and will probably never try it again.

Sorry for the spam, but I correlate my first experience with sushi to that of a teenager's first experience with throwing up from too much alcohol(only I didn't puke).

You give me more credit than I deserve. It's actually a pretty nerdy job. Ironrice can back me up on that.

a friend with benefits is the best deal, but as you said, it's easy for one to forget it is nothing but sex. i don't have the time to deal with a real girlfriend.

i had a friend like that, and when i would get bored, i'd fly her out to san diego for a weekend. i new it was going down hill when she started to want to cuddle, and would call me every night. so, i've moved on. now i'm in the market for a new one.
