I went to lunch today with my boss' boss who drives an Aston Martin DB7 Vantage. What an awesome car! She didn't get on it much as we only drove 2 miles to our lunch spot, but it was pretty cool being in the car that EVERYONE wanted to look at.
Now, this is a serious vehicle. You wouldn't expect the owner of such a vehicle to be humbled by someone else's car.....BUT......when we pulled up to the restaurant, we saw one of these parked right in front
Ah...so we are in complete agreement about the most important thing...the beautiful car. When I saw that Vanquish for the first time...I said the naughty thing online...and got away with it.
The attraction with the Elise is its rather obnoxious style and the size...just a different type of car with no practical purpose but to be a sports car. But yes, you on the right track if I am getting a gift from your winnings then I'll splurge. If I couldn't have a Vanquish then the 360 Spider would console me quite nicely as well.
I drool over my current daily driver more than any other car. Its a good fit.

I can appreciate that. I guess the look of the Lotus hasn't really grown on me yet.

I'll keep this in mind

My roommate makes fun of me because I still randomly get up off the couch, walk over to the garage door and turn on the garage light just to look at it for a few seconds. But if lovin' my G is wrong, I don't wanna be right!
I parked in two spaces today beside a friends truck and boat and beside a tree for the first time...to keep all the Muirfield Golf Tournament folk who park once a year in our lot away...all the bad stuff happening to people's cars this week made me think. Then I went to the window in my friend's office to look at it more than usual today.
I want this car to be my longest lasting romantic relationship. We are coming up on our one year anniversary.
Go back and look at the post...I'll not say the naughty thing again in this one.
