Default My new house

okay, so i'm a little late at posting this since the house closed almost a month ago ^___^

I'd like to introduce you to my house... in Arizona. It's "about me" goes a little something like this:
3,111 square feet
4 bedrooms and a den
3 baths
Extended great room
3 car garage

The kitchen is most definitely my favorite part about this house. I'm in love with this kitchen - and I can't even cook all that well!

A couple more pictures can be found here.

I took a video of the complete walkthrough of the house but don't want to publicly post it. If you want to see the video - and hear my dorky self narrating the whole thing, let me know and i'll send you the link for it ... eventually. I'm still learning how to compress the file *^__^*

congratulations, homeowner

looks nice! There are many similarities between yours and my first homes. The facade, for one.... and kitchen/family room area for another. Yours is much bigger than mine was though.

Congratulations beanie. (Happy now Super?)

I like the staircase. It's a totally different type of house than what I am used to seeing. Is this an investment thing, or are you relocating?

Nice place!

That's one hell of a first house, I must say.

I'm not too fond of the front lawn though, but the rest is just faaaantastic.

Good luck with the place!

Nice house but I think you need some work on your lawn. The grass looks kinda dead in those pics. :P

Congrats beanie, nice joint! I too would be curious if this purchase is for relocation or speculation. A good friend of mine bought two new homes a few years back at Troon North Golf Club about 45 mins north of Phoenix and has done very, very well with them. The build up in the area is going full tilt - the next Las Vegas I hear.

Congrats on the purchase. If you don't mind me asking, what does something like that run for out there? I know with the way our property value has been increasing over here soemthing that size would have gone for around $400k at least.

Thanks everyone ^__^ I was so excited to finally see it finished... and then sad that I had to leave it. I have to go back in a couple weeks to do some more maintenance on it though.

I am not/have not moved to Arizona. It's an investment home that will hopefully let me purchase a house in this area some day *keeps fingers crossed* besides, it's way too hot to live in Arizona. I don't know how you guys can do it (AZ-G35 ^__^)

GZire: I like the staircase too. It's one of my favorite parts about the house other than the kitchen. btw, thanks for the reply to my email ^__^

partyman66 and ironrice: What are you guys talking about? My front lawn is perfect - the backyard is designed the same way. Low maintenance and I don't have to worry about things dying... okay so it only looks that way because I haven't called the landscaper yet. Just picture a bunch of rocks and plants that like hot weather in place of the dirt

Lucino: If I was living there, the 2 car garage would be for the G and the other side would be for whoever

Hot Foot: the builder is D.R. Horton

Jaylin: Before I added a bunch of extras, the house was about 225K. It's gone up since then

Eldy: I haven't forgotten about the link. I'm still trying to make it so it doesn't take all day to be able to dl it.

Woooooooooooooooooooow.

$225k. Damn, that's pretty cheap.

That's probably much less than half of what you'd pay for an equivalent house anywhere along the West coast or in the North-East.
