This clone of you would be an independent person.... think of it as a younger twin brother/sister.
How about cloning your pet? Apparently some company is offering cloning services to clone your pet cat for 50 grand per clone.
I'd like to clone myself strictly for the purpose of being able to possibly do a brain transplant into my younger body when I was like 80 years old..... of course, that couldn't happen if my clone was an independent person. But still, it makes your brain churn with all the possibilities.
depends ... if it's legal for me to clone myself then put the clone in a freezer till I need an organ or so then yes....otherwise I think we should populate the earth with humans the old fashioned way
I've always thought it would be great to have a clone of myself so I could have someone I knew I could rely on to get stuff done... but then again, if my clone were anything like me, he'd get all pissed off that he was doing all the work while I was doing all the playing. hehehe.

You know what I was thinking about yesterday(Call me weird)...
What if we one day perfect and start using human engineering such that there are no longer "ugly" people or fat people. I'd be curious to see how our standards for sexual attraction would change. Imagine the day where we become soo used to everyone being soo relatively attractive that a person who might currently be rated an 8(on a hotness scale of 1 to 10) could be considered hideous and would have a hard time hooking up.
Trippy.
Oh and as far as cloning is concerned... I want to see how my cat would react to her clone suddenly being placed in the same room as her. I guess she'd probably just treat it like any other random cat.... but you never know, what happens when animal instinct comes into play.

Maybe...if everybody was hot....looks wouldn't be the reason why you become interested in someone...imagine that!!!

I wonder if they've done experiments on it ... gotta be confusing seeing as how they both have the same scents
Sidenote: Your clone would not be your slave. Also, just because your clone would have the same DNA, it doesn't mean that they would be very much like you. (Identical twins have the same DNA, and many don't even look alike). But to answer the question, no I don't think I would clone myself. It would just be too weird/unnatural for me.
