Default Do you ever dream of...

Your car getting messed up? For some reason I keep having this reoccuring dream about my baby getting damaged. Last week I had a dream that the car stall out and couldn't even get it started. Last night I had a dream about the tires getting shredded. I think it's because of that thread about rotating tires for the coupe. Oh well.

Having been an autocrosser for years and occasional road-course driver, I used to have dreams of wrecking my car in some catastrophic fashion. The number of dreams seems to be proportionate to the value of the car - With the Neon, it never happened; with the Celica, it was pretty frequent; with the G, well...let's say I've stopped a/x-ing and had to force myself to do the Driver's Edge event.

Otherwise, if my car is wrecked in a dream, it's someone else's fault although I always seem to get screwed out of them fixing it.

:P

I used to dream a lot about wrapping my car around trees / utility poles, but thankfully I haven't since getting the G. Now I'm just dreaming about being at work...blech.

No, my nightmare is when I dream that I am driving my old BMW and that I haven't bought the G yet.

Hell yeah, I've had plenty of stressful dreams about almost messing my whip up before.

I don't think I've actually done any significant damage to my car in my dreams, but I remember having several dreams where I kept skidding around corners at out-of-control speeds and coming within inches of parked cars and trees. I've also had a dream where someone in my family backed into my G in the driveway really hard and messed the bumper up, and another dream where someone else was driving my G with me in it(yeah.. like that would ever happen ) and they started driving over all kinds of things like traffic cones, garbage cans, and eventually drove over a huge curb and into a sand pit... and I was helpless to do anything about it.

Although my G dreams are stressful.... I would say that my most stresssful and recurring dreams are that I am back in college and suddenly appear in a class in which I am supposed to have an exam, that I haven't studied even a bit for. Either that or my brain starts trying to trick me into thinking that there was some random class that I never finished back in college, and my school just found out about it now(years after I've graduated).... and the college starts threatening to take my degree away as a result of this missed/forgotten class. I've been out of college for just a shade over 4 years now, and I still have these damn dreams once a month, at least.

I didn't have to dream about having the nightmare of messing up my car.

Also fupped my front bumper cover this weekend because some moron architect doesn't know the proper height to make a curb.

Clutch burner? Is that slang for something or just someone who can't drive? Anyways, I remeber this one dream I had when I first got my car. I was dreaming that someone was broke in to my car in my parking lot and stole my car. I called the cops and everything and then I woke up. It felt so real and I went outside in the middle of the night to check on my car. Then I remembered I'm not in Newark NJ anymore and went back to sleep.
