Absolutely frightening the amount of yardage the two guys picked up on the ground in the same game. I agree though that they don't panic, but lose focus. Unfortunately it might end up costing them sooner or later.

South Florida is still South Florida smoke. I really wouldn't recommend you putting up a poll when the Convicts play Va Tech. You guys are gonna need all the help you can get against the Hokies. They are a very good team this year. If you ask Michael Vick, he will tell you that he thinks that his little brother Marcus, the Va Tech QB, is a better player than he is.

Yeah, White and Bush easily could have gained 200 yards each if they really wanted to in that game. Those guys are just sick! You also have to give the O line a lot of credit. They were opening up some huge holes to get thunder and lightning going and the rest was history.
I agree though, they can't keep falling behind like this to good teams. One of these days they may not be able to come back. The D has done an awesome job shutting done the opposing team in the second half but with the number of injuries that they keep having, this could also become a huge problem. Hopefully, this won't be a trend.
the media is going to start to bashing USC like there's no tomorrow.
Mock your words? Don't you mean, mark your words?
Anyways, why would the media begin to bash USC? As long as they keep winning, that's all that matters. They didn't lose a single first place vote to Texas this week. I think voters were impressed that they were able to come back from an 18 deficit at halftime and still win the game against a very good ASU team. Not to mention that USC has won 26 straight and has been #1 in the polls just about as long. What can they bash?

oops
anyways, yes they're still winning... but UM went through a couple of games in which were somewhat tight... and we got major yellow journalism. both games were to rivals that were highly ranked (FSU, and VT). yet, the media tried thier hardest to make it seem like the hurricanes were losing thier strength.
btw hexx, if you watch any of the sportscenter analysts... they're ALL saying that notre dame is going to upset USC. (it has begun)
Smoke, all of the ABC/ESPN analysts are IDIOTS! I forget what the white guys name is that does the pregame and halftime shows on ABC but he said that there is no way that USC was gonna come back and win that game vs. ASU this weekend. These idiots pick against USC practically every game. Before the Orange Bowl last year, all three of those geniuses picked Oklahoma to steam roll USC and we all know what happened. They just can't wait for USC to lose. Aaron Taylor is another guy that is a big time hater but at least he went to ND so I can kinda understand him. Trust me when I tell you this smoke. ND does not have the team speed to keep up with USC. Washington racked up close to 500 yards of offense against ND last week and they are horrible. This game will not be as close as people think it is going to be.

hey man, i never said i agreed w/ the analyst.
i just said MARK/mock my words the media is going to bash USC until they defeat someone convincingly
hard to do when every team you play against is going to bring their A-game. for most teams, playing USC IS their bowl game. ive been there before hexx i think i know what im talking about
ND is pretty good offensively... they got diffensive issues.
The good thing about these last two games is the Oregon and ASU have two of the best passing offenses that USC will see this year. I don't know how good ND's offense is, but I'm sure it is better than years past. Their running game may be better though as that has always been a problem for USC when it comes to playing ND.
The game will come down to how well USC handles the hostile environment (not too well in either the first halves of the last two games). Hopefully, they will have learned a thing or two from these past two weekends in that regard.

Lar and super-ND definitely has a better offense than they did last year but their defense is not very good. Like I said, they gave up a ton of yards to Washington. Washington! ND does not have the team speed to hang with USC. As far as a hostile environment. You can't get much more hostile than Autzen Stadium. I really think that they are gonna handle ND pretty easily again. Cal is going to be the more of a challenge than ND. Personally though, I am not convinced by Cal yet. They haven't played anybody good. This weekend vs. UCLA should give us a decent idea of how good Cal really is. My dilemma is that I hate both Cal and UCLA equally and I don't know who I want to lose more!
