one last thought about what to do about the Civic .. return it. The next gen Civic (which looks 100x better) is coming out soon and if you can't wait that long I'd rather get the Scion Tc over the current Civic
Hi boggie Good choice on the car. It's better to not bog yourself down with more debt... especially at a young age.
Good luck with getting into the schools! You can always try to transfer if you are set on wanting to go to UCI. If you plan to do that, make sure you talk with counselors so they can recommend classes that will transfer. Don't get screwed like I did with a couple classes >__<

How do you return a car? After u've driven it for 1 month and put 1000 miles on it? The 1000miles is cuz they took soo long to get back to me, but how do I convince them to take my car back?

Oh my you have grown my young padawan and have become wise beyond your years. And again, good choice on the car. And I wouldn't worry too much about the new Civic. Civic is a Civic. Be happy with what you have and the decision you made, because there's always something better around the corner (and usually more expensive).
EDIT: My bad. Didn't read your post regarding the problems you had with your new Civic That does suck and hopefully Honda will take care of you because the dealer basically confirmed there was something wrong with the paint on their new car. But I can see from their side, that they did everything possible to accomodate and fix the problem, even if it was a hastle for you.
