I love BMW ... I love putting BMW in their place even more
I was on Route 18 on my way to wawa. Wasn't in the best of moods and was driving a bit more aggressively/faster than usual. I guess this new 330 thought he would put me in my place. We're at a light and he just takes off when it turns green. He didn't rev or anything so I didn't realize he wanted to race or whatever. I assume he wanted me to run b/c he was going WOT and there was nothing else on the road but us. Soon as I hear him going WOT I follow suit and by 3rd gear he was behind me. I love BMW. I still want to get one someday. I respect their performance. I love watching them in my rear view
Yep the 330s coupe or sedan are nice cars and are very quick till about 50 or so then cars with real horsepower will smoke them but the m3 is the beast

still not great at launching but I havne't really been trying. Tires are jus too much to replace. I'll run the car hard but not so much off the line. I do my best to not chirp the tires
I was going to get an M3, but it was too much for my teacher salary

its jus adding extra wear to the tires. Only really happens if either you're driving fast or don't know how to drive.
The G is faster than the 330 in jus about all aspects but the 330 with the ZF package (performance package) which adds a few ponies makes it neck and neck and thus another driver's race. But this was all according to the last generatino model ... the new 330s have more power in em so we'll have to see if they got what it takes to run with the G
yea a lot of people like to do that, act like they arent going to race then BAM! they take off. I'm still amazed how hard people drive their cars....I swear at every light they take off like they have somewhere to be.
On another note, BMWs are nice but the only ones I feel worth getting are the M models.
I think I've seen your car around Rutgers on college ave. Is there any kind of car scene around?

You go to Rutgers or just in the area? There really isn't much of a car scene on campus. I'll hear of people doing some stupid quick drags over on Livingston campus in the huge parking lots but the only time I went by it was jus like 7 or 8 Civics and Integras and those basic cars with neon tubes falling off their cars doing their best to do a Vin Diesel Fast & Furious Style impressions. If you swing by the grease trucks late at night on the weekends there are usually a bunch of bikers ... not exactly the same thing but they're pretty cool guys and some of them really know how to ride their stuff. The closest scenes I know of are in either Edison or Freehold.
Well I used to live at Rutgers, I'm commuting from home this year (my last). Yea I usually dont try to draw to much attention to myself around campus because I cant afford a cop taking a look under my car lol. As for the grease trucks, buddy of mine with an 04 r6 usually meets up over there. Sucks there isnt more going on around here.
BTW, keeping with the whole bmw thing, headin home on route one, this guy in a 330ci decided he wanted to jump into the far right open lane and take off when the light turned green to cut in when the lane ended. I think he thought he was quick, but he seemed a little discouraged how he couldnt get away from me and was passed hard as I changed into the far left lane to blow by him....he proceeded to hang back from then on lol.
