OKAY this guy with a BMW tells me he will run me for 100 dollars.. he says his 3 series is faster than my g... im like i dont know.. it was like a 325i or something, 2 door stick shift Stock.... Will I will? I have a stillen cat back, grounding kit, 350z intake tube, stillen (cab) intake, and if it matters 18" g35 coupe rims..

oh yeah do the 18" coupe rims weigh less than the 17" sedan rims?????

He SAYSSS his car runs "like" 13.9
I was racing some guy a while ago who was running 13.9 and I beat him twice and he beat me once by foot.. (i red-lined in triptronic and the rev limiter kicked in and slowed me down a split second)

anyway would i win?

EDIT: I tried researching it, It might of been a 330Ci.. but it was DEFT a 3 series and DEFT NOT A M3.... It was not a convertable, only a hard top coupe.

I think u might win...if its a 330i..will win if its a 325i...G35Kid has ran against a 330i with zhp and intake. I think he won slightly, and G35kid power brakes his car to 2200rpm and runs without the vdc on. As for the 330i driver...I'm not sure if he launches his car and how well he drives it...but I don't think he shifts horribly hard and doesn't launch hard if he even launches at all. I'm sure a 330i will give you a run for its money...but a 325i I doubt he can come close you should be able to waste him.

a 325 with not mods ... i would assume you should be able to beat em. From what I understand the 330 with performance package is what we have to fear

It's only $100, doesn't sound like much money for a race. He may not be sure of you and you of him. If I race someone for money and know I will beat him I would go for more money. Go for it and be safe.

sound like stoplight racing if theyre quoting 1/4 mile times... in top speed... I dunno... probably give it to the G since it has tbe bigger engine / more torque for reaching higher speeds faster.

Drag... bimmers are quick. 330 equivalent would have been a 328, not a 325. Gotta remember that while the older body style had less power, they also weighed less.

you will beat him for sure....i raced the best 3 series out ( besides the m3 ) ....it was a 330i ZHP and was stick...i have an auto g35 sedan with pop charger z tube and exhasut and i still beat him....from a roll it was almost dead even....but from a dead stop i worked him time and time again....keep in mind you have more mods than me and the guy is driving a NON ZHP Bmw....DO IT!!
