Everytime i'm driving my G, why is it that everyone wants a piece of me? Im not a racer or anything but, i will not back down to a challenge. My first run was about last week on saturday. I was goin home from a restaurant near my buddy's house and i was at a stop light. all of a sudden, the same exact G coupe pulls besides me. He revs me up like the punk kid he is and wants to challenge me to a run. the light turns green, and i take off. by the time i was in 3rd gear, the kid was way behind me. his shifting was horrible. he was chirping every gear which made him slower. then the next light comes up. he had a better launch than i did, but due to inexperience and horrible shifting, i had to hand his ass over to him on a silver platter. Then yesterday i was on my way home from work when all of a sudden a 740 pulls up to me and wants to run. so i take him and beat him by at least 3 cars. the next stop sign he challenges me again, this time i wanted to give him a chance so i reversed and gave him a car length head start. we run and i spanked him even more. Then today on the way to the club, an old chevy montecarlo, looked like a muscle car wanted some action, i was goin like 70 on the freeway and i downshift to 3rd and i couldn't see him anymore. And on the way home some older bimmer pulls next to me i think it was an 840 coupe. anyhowz i handed him his ass too. I need to stop racing people cuz it will burn out my clutch quickly. But one thing is i cant back down to a challenge. Its just strange that everytime im in my G, everybody wants a piece of me.

Oh man... that was a great story. I did the same thing in my explorer just a few days ago. But I backed up and actually turned the car around so i raced him in reverse.
Well, I see some of you are coming around. The word, Lotus, is being used here in a more respectful vein. Good. About time, even though its use is intended to produce humor, you guys are finally seeing the light. Especially, now, since Nissan has seen the light, too. Don't forget that. Nissan worships at the altar of Lotus. (And Cosworth.)
I had some guy in a jacked up pickup want to race me when I was in my box, my wife cracked up as I threw it in neutral and gunned it a couple of times.
