Looks like Ariel will have some competition from the folks at KTM (no clue about its performance stats but I can't think it will be that much different):

I forget who designed it but some company designed one with the Suzuki Hyabusa's motor in it years ago. They come out with these 3 to 4 wheeled vehicles with bike motors once in a while. Nobody ever manufactures them though. I don't think there's enough market for them.
Atom on the other hand isn't a one of those bike powered vehicles. It's an open wheeled car. I've actually seen one in Laguna Beach a while ago. It's definitely a weekend car.

Yeah, the KTM has less HP and actually weighs more but looks pretty cool. I've seen a couple Atoms at Cars and Coffee though...they are pretty amazing vehicles.
you know i've seen previous shows of topgear and have enjoyed it, but what a fucking elitist he was with regard to the Z. he poo poohed everything about it. what an ass! it's a great bang for buck car, fun to mod, but not everything is a Ferrari.
i'm not a big american car fan either, but i'd fuck Janet Reno for a spankin' new ZO6 and he poo pooohs that too:
look what he says about the Ford GT and in this case, it's okay to have the diverse package. he finally gives an American car its props, but still with limitations.

I agree. He takes every aspect of a car as if it were made to be a race car and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE! Like the 300C SRT8....that car is a luxury cruiser that will dart in a straight line....its not made to be a handler. Its an executives car with pop. He blows it up and says it has the lossest steering worst susp....etc etc. Then compares it to an M5...a car that is made for a more track environment.
also, he tracks the ZO6 and the Ford GT at Willow Springs. Did you see the way he drives? I've driven on that track and if I was going to go balls out I'd definitely wear a helmet. Dumbshit! That last turn (I believe its turn 8 ), you come flying out of there at a 120mph if you're a good driver in a good car. I can only imagine what sort of speed he was flying at. ehhh, its his dumbass fault then.
