my 03 g35 auto vs my 93 sc400 auto

I had my brother drive the sc400, (my bro weighs 390lb,, huge guy
I pulled on him about a car and half up to 110mph or so,,,,
given that weight differances on drivers 150lb vs 390lb
i think the sc400 is right in the same power and speed range as the g35...
note my sc is modified i put down 230lb of torque and 207rwhp

have not clue what my g35 puts down,,my mods on it so far are a cold air intake......


also 0-60 times, on lexus sc400 best 6.45 with g-tech,,,15 sec 1/4 mi

with G35 i got 6.38 0-60 with G-tech. 15sec 1/4mi

I think the G is a much heavier car to start out with... also 270hp on the G auto

once you calculate the weight of the car ... it makes sense they would be close rivals. what is the weight of the sc400 anyway?

actualy sc400 is the havier one , at 3700lb

a stock 93 sc400 woudl have no chance, they only put down 175rwhp and 190rwtrq, mine puts down much better with mods.

Hmm... the Lexus SC400's are pretty nice cars, but I don't think they are in the same league, performance wise, with the G.

Well I own both of them, so i know
And like I said a stock sc400 would have no chance. after I did my mods I was smoking my friends 95 sc400 like nothing on the highway.

Well the SC400 has a stout V8 so I'm sure you can massage some good power out of it.

Yea I was surpprised to gain around 20rwhp just from intake and exhaust and i gained aditions 15rwhp from tunning it with S-AFC

damn 6.38 on the gtech is fairly slow...even during summer i was running 5.8 and 5.9s all day in 85-90 degree weather. Right now during winter im pulling 5.4-5.5 on my auto.

that seems kinda fast for an auto,,, i tested my g-tech on multiple cars and found it to be very accurate 0-60,,,so maybe your g-tech is wrong?
