Default breaking the 100mph barrier

Being in NYC, I don't get to go fast very often. My baby's not cut out for the city and I never really got a chance to take her fast on the Highway around here due to traffic. Last weekend I finally broke the 100mph barrier crusing along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. damn there are NO COPS IN PA!! WTF?!

How often do you guys go over 100?

Not very often as I also live in the city but every damn chance I get. I'm a believer that a high performance engine needs to be rung out once every so often.

A few times a week. It's quite easy on my way to work, the 90 west bound towards Marina del Rey is uncongested and wide open, and as soon as I'm on it, I'll punch it. I just did 120mph this morning. What can I say, every once in a while I miss the lil rev light indicator going off at 6500 rpms.

Yup. Not many chances to take it that high in SoCal unless it is really late at night or you are driving through BFE.

Yeah, definlty, Socal is surrounded by traffic and cops. Even if the road is free, im always considering the fact that a cop might be near by. So yeah, 100mph, not too often

I voted once or twice, but then I remembered that every time I go to New Orleans or South Florida, I cruise at 100+ on I-10 or 75. Make sure the X50 is on LOUD.

i hit at least 90 everytime i get on the freeway. 100 isn't too fast in this car as long as there are no cops and you're on a good road. i'm sure my austin peeps out there have "flown" on 183 or 71 before.
