Default BMW 5 Series

Early this morning, around 2:20 am, I was driving southbound and made left onto Olympic going eastbound. I made the left onto Olympic as the light was turning red. As soon as I turned onto Olympic this car was screaming from stop to catch up to me. As it caught up I began to accelerate some more to verify that he was trying to race me. Well he caught up and pretty much flew by me. It was a late model BMW 5 series but it had the numbers debadged, so I don't know which 5 series it was. I'm assuming it must have been a 525i as most people with the higher line models usually don't debadge their cars. Well it flew by me and kept on accelerating. I saw a red light ahead of him so I started to accelerate some more to catch him at the light. Well I did and it was this young kid in a white BMW 5 series with limo tints, chromed 20's and music blasting. I was thinking of just letting it go, but since he felt the need to catch up to me and fly by I thought that he should be made aware of the full capabilities of the G. So when the light turned green I shot off, but didn't smoke tires or even chirp. I just started off with intent but witout all the flair. Well, I heard him trying to catch me but by that time I was redlined in 1st and going onto 2nd. When I looked I was about 10 car lenghts ahead and I just kept rowing gears up to 4th. I had pretty much smoked him I let off to make a left turn. Of course, he kept on accelerating as if he's racing a shadow. He probably would have done better racing his own shadow because I taught the kid a lesson he probably won't forget anytime soon. He should understand that you never arrive at a gun fight with pee shooter 22's, just because it's all shiny and looks good.

Thanks gamma. I felt pretty stupid about the race afterwards though. I shouldn't be doing that espeically in that part of town. Next ticket I might be walking for the next 5 years.

I was going to say something about that. At 2:20am on Olympic blvd, you see nothing but cops around K-town or anywhere heading into K-town. I can't point fingers because I posted a race I did on La Cienega, so how could I point fingers? Oh well, live and learn.

the 5 Series is the car i really wanted. Yeah black rims n the chrome lip, seen about 2 like that and I think they look fucken tight wit dark dark tint.

Then I knew it would be an addition 5K at least.. then insurance.. then new rims.. so Too much.

And I never forgot about my NEED FOR SPEED

Id be cocky either way haha

I have seen to many black/chrome lips. The style is becoming saturated. I think the next big thing will be the black chrome thing...and I think black chrome looks more like plastic.
Volks will always be classic

http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/indexe.html

they are the best bang for your buck. They are expensive, but are also lightweight. The detail and craftsmanship are supurb on these wheels.

Volk also designes the wheels mounted on our stock Nissan's and Infiniti's (including the coupe 17", 18", and 18")
