Default civic LOL

so im driving, and i stop at a light. i am the third car in my line. when the light turns green, i hear a loud exhaust from the car at the front of the lane. since this street had 2 lanes going the same way, i decided to jump on the other lane to pass the guy. so i did. i guess he got really upset, and chased me down. as i am approaching my turn (onto a major 3 lane street), i start turning slowly to see if the guy is going my same way. the guy turns the same as i do, and immediately slams on the accelerator, and i did like wise. i was in first gear when i slammed on the accelerator, by the time i was reaching 3rd gear, i heard the civic "chirp" into 2nd

ok so i smoked the guy by about 10 cars, i was waiting for him to catch up to see if he wanted to race again, but the guy decided to make a u-turn and save the embarrassment.

dumb civic owner.. if you're going to race a car, make sure you know what you're up against

Just be glad you never ran into a Civic SI like this little smoker because the story would have turned out a lot different!

Lil smoker knows what it HAD. I have an 05 6MT coupe now but I used to have a mid 13 second 00 Civic SI. And I don't think it could have taken a G, I know it could have taken a G . . . . . tough guy. Especially lil smoker's 5AT sedan.

you'd be suprised what a "little POS" civic can do....i don't think an SI can take the g35, but i know for a fact that my original setup in my little civic ex can take my 6mt any day....

the last engine i built in it...

b18c motor, type r cams, skunk2 intake manifold, dc headers, wires, aem sprockets, je pistons, mugen chipped ecu, etc....

two months later...port/polish, t66 single turbo, etc etc...basically all your ricer necessities. then of course the suspension...ground control coil overs, dc rear lower tie, bilstein sways, front/rear struts, kyb gas adjustable shocks....with a total time of about 10.799 pushing close to 300whp at roughly 260ft-lbs off the dyno

and with this.....

the numbers came out a lot higher....

now trying taking ten car lengths off that

Very nice! That must have taken a lot of wrench time and a lot of money. But does that mid 13 sec time include NOS?

So basically the only thing it has to do with a civic is the shell of the car you started with.

Wow and I thought I put a lot of work into my Civic! NIIIIICCCCEEEEEE!!!!!
Bottom line gentlemen. Don't underestimate a POS Civic because there are a lot of Hexx's and DOHCtor Dan's out there ready and willing to put an unsuspecting victim to shame!
