06 6mt vs 04 audi a4 3.0v6
ok...for those of you who are from austin, you know this stretch of road...
the sucker and i were on burnet road going towards the new toll road(45) in round rock. on the first run, he pulled a punk move, and pulled off quickly before i realized he wanted to run. with my cat-like reflexes, i jumped on the accelerator, and almost caught him(1/2 mi or so). on the second run, we both are first at the light, and i look over to see if he wants to challenge again. he doesn't look at me, but i know this fool wants to run. so, i had my car at about 3k rpm, vdc off, and when the light turned green, i hit it. in first, i had about 1/3 of a car, second i had a whole one, third, this fool was in my mirror. i had to shut down at about 80 mph, but my point was made. he couldn't hang. i'm guessing his car was an at though. he might have had an mt, but his car isn't nearly as loud as ours, so it's kinda hard to hear him shifting.
one thing though...
i believe i pushed second gear pretty far. right before i went to third, the car did this weird lurching thing, caught back up, and then i change gears. this was the first time i've really done this, so to me, it happened REALLY quickly. what was it that i felt?
