6mt coupe stock on 20" vs 98 civic hb w/ B20 Vtec

first i'll give some specs on both cars..
my car is a 03 6mt bone stock on 20" iforged evolutions with rated W nitto 555's.

my friends hatch has a B20-vtec with intake, headers, exhaust, type r cam gears, and its on 18" black volk te-37's with azenis z rated tires

we were at a light.. this wasnt planned at all.. he said he wanted to give it a go, i didnt expect much out of my car.. i mean a b20vtec is crazy.. i believe bone stock they run 13.5 in a hatch so i had no idea how fast he would be.. anyway the light turns green i launch at 2k but i have traction problems due to the w rated tires i look over to my left and he's having problems gripping himself.. we both take off i take the lead in first i shift to 2nd i see him creeping up slowly, slam it in 3rd and i take off!!! i got a good 4-5 car lead on him before i hit the brakes god im damn proud of this car! sorry for the sloppy post but im at work and have to make this quick
