I haven't exactly pushed the G a lot since I've owned it. I read some of the posts in these forums, & I remind myself that my G35x isn't a fast as some G's b/c it's a sedan, AT & AWD.
Well, coming home tonight from work, I'm not exactly happy about what happened at work today, so I'm in one of those "moods"! I'm going down a slight hill towards a light, going to change lanes to the right, but a MB pulls up next to me so I can't get over. I think, I'll go a little faster when the light changes and get in the right lane. Well, the guy / gal in the MB decides to stay with me. (I didn't push it that hard, this time!)So we get to the next light about 2 blocks away. It's like 10+ blocks to the next light, flat area now & wide open. I decide that this guy is going to get on it, so I shift over to the manual part of the auto, just in case. We get on it, & I shift at almost redline everytime, every gear w/ the manual shift (in the auto). Oh my god! I never got on this baby this hard before. He stayed with me for maybe 50-60 feet & I start to pull on him big time. within prob. like 2-3 blocks worth of space, I pull in front him for my turn & he goes way over to the left lane & slows way down. I sat at the next light for awhile, (approx. 10 blks away), trying to see what it was. I think it was a 1 -2 yr. old MB 350?? Couldn't tell for sure in the dark, but I bet he knew what I was driving by now. I was just very impressed by this G, even w/ no mods, Auto, (ha ha ha!) & AWD. It still moves pretty good. This may not be a big deal to some, but boy did I have a good time. Smiled ALL the rest of the way home.

Sorry folks! I turned trader and went w/ another makers SUV. (i do love it though!) Local Infiniti dealer wouldn't deal!
MBs are heavy n not too quick till u get Kompressor status or Baller Status wit the AMG, this girl i know has an 05 CLK 350, i think i can take it, same weight as my 05 6MT Coupe n we got more HP... damn i wanna take her_
