I was headed down town tonight to have a few drinks with some friends when this mercedes does everything he can to catch up to me. We're sitting side by side at the light and I notice it's a SL600. I know I have no chance, but I never play with my car so I figured what the hell. Well, after about 1/8th of a mile he was far enough ahead of me to not only get in front of me, but try, reiterate try, to make the right hand turn at the next light. Well, his car was very fast, but I guess he overestimated it's handling ability. Not only did he not make the turn, but he failed to avoid the light pole sitting in the middle of the island he jumped up into. I hate to see such a nice car take such a hard hit, but I must admit I was laughing pretty good when I succesfully made the turn behind him.
I would not suggest messing around with a SL600, but this time I drove away laughing.

His tail end hit the pole, not a head on. He pulled away from it pretty quickly. I'm pretty sure he was real embarrased and did not want to hang around there for too long. It wasn't a high impact collision, more like a side swipe. I guess to answer your question no, I did not stop. But he never really did either. Kind of hit it, collected himself and pulled away.

Jay, you have no idea how entertained I was. Would have felt bad if it was a bad wreck, but this was far from that. Just a lot of money damage I'm sure.
You know how it is on your bike, every one wants to mess with you. But you have to know you limits and riding skills. Well, obviously this guy new his car was extremely fast, but had no idea how to handle it. Of course it's always easier to lose a race in my G knowing that it's not even close to the fastest thing in my garage.
I don't know if it's me, or what, but my car doesn't feel like 300 HP should feel. Maybe it's because it's so smooth and planted pretty good. But a buddy of mine had a 93 Mustang GT and had all kinds of crap done to it. But it couldn't have had more then 325 or 330 Hp and it felt a lot stronger then my G does. I don't ever race it so it may be fast and just not feel it.
