I only had one encounter with the 350hp GTO. It was about two weeks ago. I was at a light and there was a vette next to me and the GTO was behind me. A guy in the vette was 50+ so when it turned green we both took off normally but when I noticed that he tried to get in front of me cause there was a car in front of him 10 blocks away, I didn't let him

(he pulled, but not enough to get in front

). The GTO was driving behind us the whole time, anxious. When the vette turned, the GTO switched lanes and got in front of me. It turned out that we were both goin to the highway

I was with my girl and she knew I was gonna hit it as soon as the ramp ended and she said "don't even think about it"

cause she didn't feel so good (she felt like throwin up and didn't want the car to make sudden moves) Since she was SICK, I let it go at that moment, but as I thought, the GTO punched it

I slowly caught up to him and got in front. As I noticed that he started following me and there were no cars in front, I looked at her like this

and she was like "OK" :P At that point we were goin about 70mph and the GTO was about 5 cars behind (waiting). I downshifted 2 gears and it was on

. I noticed the GTO went WOT too cause his front lights slightly lifted

I took my two girls to about 130mph with the GTO behind. For the record, it is really hard to notice any distance change if the other car is 5 cars behind. But from what I could see, he was still about the same length behind at 130mph when we shut off.
So the conclusion of this long post is that even though there might be a slight difference between a 350hp GTO and a G35 cpe 6MT from 70 to 130, it was not noticeable (by very sharp set of eyes might I add

) with a 5 car gap.
