Default Comparison

AEBS 4.3 Liter Stroker Kit

1.) T-Sleeves 6X
2.) Pistons 8.5:1 Compression
3.) Cosmetic Head Gasket
4.) Connecting Rods
5.) Crankshaft

Total: $7,899.00

Nismo Identical Internals

1.) Not Available (But AEBS Sells them $120.00 per sleeve, so times 6=$720.00)
2.) $1,500.00
3.) $349.00
4.) $1,500.00
5.) $2,799.00

Total for the Nismo Pack with the Additional T-Sleeves: $6,868.00

So technically the AEBS still costs $1,031.00, but I don’t think that the NISMO increases the engine to 4.3 Liters or increases Horsepower as the Stroker Kit would, but to those who were going for built internals I would suppose it’s a decent comparison.

Sorry for any errors, and I got these prices from

AEBS includes the labor to install those sleeves.

Nismo does not, and no the Nismo does not stroke the engine. It's simply compression.

I'll see you on the track...

Phoenix-

Any thoughts as to the HP increases to be made from stroking the VQ if you went the N/A route with the 11 or 11.5 pistons? Not looking to do it, just curious if you have heard any info (or if it's related to what you talked about before with an N/A kit from Crawford putting out 300+ rwhp).

Im pretty sure you said something beneficial but I dont really get it. I never said that the NISMO parts were here to take the place of the stroker kit, I merely suggested, that if you were building ur internals, you may as well spend the extra mula and look into the stroker kit b/c it would end up amounting to pretty much the same. That way you have the best of both worlds, extra HP and built internals.

To sum it up again, this was a mere comparison between to options open to building your internals.
