Rear Diff Passive Cooler? Link inside

Curious if anyone has it: How hard was the installation? Is there any way to actually tell it has improved the rear diff's heat evacuation?
Is it a good idea if you're FI or just if you drive aggressively a lot or both?

I do not have this item, should be less than a 1-hour installation with the right tools. The cooling fins on this cover should help to keep high temperatures under control and increase differential life to avoid a costly failure. It would depend mostly on how hard you drive your "G". Using a simple temperature gauge on the same road course before and after the housing change should so any temp change results.

I think it makes the diff cooler looking! The 300ZX's have them on there VLSD. When I swapped my Open Diff to a VLSD on my 240sx I thought look awesome.
