Default Suspension

In the next month or so i will begin intensely building and improving the handling of my car. I was wondering what the best upgrades were.

So far about to go with

-JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers
-350Evo Adjustable Swaybar Set
-ZMI Titanium Brakes(maybe)

I plan on getting lighter Rims and Better Tires, so any suggestions would be helpful. So far I'm leaning towards the RHJ5 cuz I like the look along with the Toyos.

I have started collecting money.
So far I have $114.73, I hope to have more in the near future.

Have you considered TEIN for coilovers?

I would consider Hotchkiss swaybars, Tein FLEX-whatever coilovers, and a set of camber kits.

phoenix, the FLT-A2's worth it if Im only gonna autocross on weekends and daily drive it the rest of the week. the quality looks superb, and i prefer the look over the green teins, i think its a good product, but i dont like the color.

Who cares what color it is, you don't see it. Function over form. JIC is really good, as well as the higher end Tein, but if your car is daily driven, and comfort is a factor, then maybe something a little less competition spec might be better. Tein CS offers improved suspension handling over stock, as well as comfort.

I have a tendency to lean towards aesthetics, not only that I really like the JIC's and wanted a first hand opinion on the change in ride quality. I don't really mind the TEIN Flex kit if it really has that big a comfort advantage over the JIC's.

JIC is supposed to be stiff .. some people say that on full soft it's fine, some people are more luxury-ride oriented. Tein's are supposed to be a lil softer .. but the most stock-ish ride is provided by the HKS LS+ or so.

Both JIC & Tein's have had reports of noise .. JIC's can be found used around $1200-1300 .. good deal for a very solid & full featured coilover. (That's why I have a set in the garage waiting for the car)

I'm used to the aggressive ride .. I love the car sitting down right away after a bump. Feels so much safer than the Accord beater car I drive.
