Default Crawford High Flow Cats - Install question

Do you need to pull the motor to install these cats or can you access the tail end of the headers from under the car?

Do these cats have all the required sensor ports, same as stock?

After install and resetting ECU, any issues with check engine light, etc?

You don't need to pull the motor, but it's not an easy install. They do accept the stock sensors. You should not get a CEL. I know that there is a DIY available somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks for the info Roneski! I read the install app note and briefly took a look at my car this morning. Doesn't look too bad. Seems like the Kinetix cats are emmisions friendly and not raspy. I wonder if Crawfords are the same as well.

The only issue that I can recall hearing about with the Crawford is that sometimes the installer has had to bend the heat shield to keep it from rattling against other parts. I hear that it sounds great though.

Exactly. On RARE occassion they have to bend it back.

Just make sure you have that long extension for the top-bolt. Otherwise the install is pretty straight forward! Enjoy!

Okay PhoenixINX, I finally gave in and ordered a set. I see that performancenissanparts.com is now carrying them for ya. I'll follow up when I get them installed.
