I saw some people mention Hop Up Racing here before as a good place to get performance parts. I ordered a set of Hotchkis sways from them about two and a half weeks ago. They charged my credit card immediately (I now see that as the first red flag), but told me it was a made-to-order part so it wouldn't ship right away. I pinged them via AIM every 3 or 4 days, and got the same story, that they'd let me know as soon as it shipped. For the last week, they haven't responded to my AIMs or my email.
So the question is, have I been scammed? I thought some other people here bought from them, so if anyone has any feedback, let me know. If they don't reply to me today, I'm going to talk to my credit card company, but I doubt they'll help me out. Any advice on that front?
Thanks!

Steve is AWESOME to work with, and will not scam you.
His shop doesn't carry much inventory, so he carries little overhead... passing along the savings to you. Hotchkis is very backlogged, so he placed the order and will ship as soon as prepared.
Rest assured, I give him my full recommendation. Instead of AIM or email... have you tried calling? He ALWAYS returned my voicemails very promptly.
I just got an email from Jessie, basically saying the same thing you did (Hotchkis is slow, they have to pay up front). So although it sucks that I won't see the sways for a few weeks, at least I don't have to worry now. Thanks!

I had the same issue. Hop up charged my card right away but the sways didn't show up for about 4 weeks. Their website was said "usually ships in 3-5 days".
Hotchkis makes the sways in batches, meaning this week they may make Mustang and Integra sways and next week they make something else. It just depends on how far out the next lot of 350Z/G35 sways will be made. I guess that's why they cost less then others. Just need to wait a little longer. Sit tight ... you'll really enjoy them once they finally show up.

If you're running the stock suspension I would recommend using the medium setting for front and rear to get rid of the understeer.
After switching to the Tein Flex I had pretty severe oversteer issue running at a HPDE Nasa road course. I was able to compensate somewhat adjusting the dampening but it never fully went away. I am now using F-med/R-soft. We'll see how that goes.

Always good to inquire whether the vendor has a part in stock brfore ordering to help avoid delivery surprises, but I think you will be pleased once you get them on, and will quickly forget the wait! Also, WileCote is talking about coupe settings, but our sedans are a different animal. I am using Front-soft/Rear-medium with the oem 215s and feel this is appropriate. With your 245s all around, I would recommend you start with Med/Med settings.

Unfortunately, my first unsprung upgrade was dictated by location - needed a dedicated winter tire/wheel set. Next spring the new shoes go on!
