I have a few brand new Vortech G35 supercharger kits that I am trying to sell I have both the polished and the satin kits. I am willing to sell the kits at or below dealer cost. Feel free to email me at Matt@cprace.com for any questions or pricing.
Here's the parts list that Matt sent me. It includes a charge air cooler. He says the kits for 350Z and G35 are identical, except for the fuel system tuning.
As of a few weeks ago, the polished kits were selling for $4700. Satin kits were $4500.

So $4500 plus shipping cost plus installation cost plus tuning cost plus plugs, oil, filter, upgraded braking components - at least performance pads and steel-braided lines, possibly suspension components - probably swaybars, plus more frequent gas fillups cost, plus no more warranty = $8-9k on the safe side and you'll be doing more frequent oil and sparkplug changes and getting less mpg.
Hmmm. There's a lot of thought that should be given before going FI.

I'm not going to buy it because they spelled the name of the car wrong on the cover.

Why limit that thought to just forced induction cars? For example, a lot of thought should be given before ordering high compression pistons, long duration cam shafts, ported heads, a high stall torque converter, or tall rear end gears, etc. Anything one chooses to do to raise the power output of the engine or otherwise increase the acceleration capability of the car should be expected to cost you in one way or another, right?

[lol]...that's pretty scary. I know Vortech seems to be the FI of choice for many G owners but I would not want to be trusting some maker of a highly specialized and engineered part for my car if they don't even have a clue about the spelling of our cars.
As long as they're spending all their time refining their product to function properly (as opposed to spending their time learning to spell the name correctly), they can call our cars "Hondas" and it wouldn't bother me in the least. [thmsup]
