Talking WTB: MotorDyne MREV2

I want to buy a MREV2 , I would prefer a used once since it is a non moving part. This is the last bolt-on that I could buy, so if you or you know somebody that have one, sent me PM.

Well, I don't have any used ones. So if you can't find one used, I can get you a new one for cheaper than anyone else. Just let me know...

Good info... I might be interested in the MREV2 and spacer... just wish a strut bar could fit!

Some strut bars work with the 5/16" spacer, just might have to ditch the engine cover.

If only some work with the 5/16" spacer and MVREV2.... is it going to be impossible to find a bar that will fit with a 1/2" spacer installed?

I think the Richie stb works with the 1/2" but for sure you can't use the engine cover. I know there are some that work with the 1/2" out there...

I don't think that option is available. If you have a non-revup engine, you can get a core refund. As far as that, there are no one "trade-in" options.

why did motordyne choose 03-04 manifolds to modify instead of 05-07? Is it simply because of easier availability?

I'm still unclear as to why you would install a prevoius model manifold on a revup engine, when infiniti decided to change manifold desing in these years to gain some power.

Obviously Infiniti didn't change it enough if the revup engines are seeing 15-20hp increases from using a modified old one.

I'm sure the reason for using the older one, is not due to availability, since most people that replace theirs, have the revup. I would imagine the newer lower plenum would be much easier to obtain. It has to be for a design reason...
