I just purchased an Injen Cold Air INtake system and didn't relaize it required the removal of the front end to install - more than I bargained for when I bought it. Has anyopne installed one before and did it fact it require the removal of the front end?
Could I elemintae the down tube section that places the air filter near the ground - there by placing the filte at the end of the first tube and behind where the current stock filter is located. I realize I loose some of the cold air benefit.
You don't have to take off the bumper. If you get your car on a lift, just go through the wheel well. Take off like 3 clips and 4-5 screws, and you can pull the splash guard back.
