Default borla installed

I just installed the borla exhaust on my 05 sedan. What sucked is that on the borla website it shows the part number for a 05 sedan. When i got it back to the shop and had almost installed. The last hanger doesnt fit. It faces the wrong way. I had to make a bracket to make it fit. All that aside, I took it out last night and fell in love with my car again. I have since talked to a buddy online who says there is a kit to make it fit. The sound is deep and throaty. Sounds European not ricey. I can really hear my cai working now. In between shifts you can hear the whistle of the cai taking in air. (Awesome) On the highway at 70-80 mile an hour you cant hardly hear it at cruising speeds. No droning at all which is what i was afraid of . At low end exceleration and wot it comes to life and has a little raspyness over 5000 rpms. The thing is perfect. Also noticed that it is at least 30 lbs lighter than stock. I am completely inpressed. As for the performance you will feel it wot at higher rpms. I do feel that the mid range is stronger too. At highway speeds the speedometer just cruises through the numbers. 60...70...80...90...100. ahhhhh sweet.. im geeking later E.A. Buy one

Congrats! Looks like we have very similiar cars and I just had the Borla installed two weeks ago. I'm very happy with it too. You are right about the '05 kit. It was $65 from Borla and included the new brackets.

Enjoy that sweeeet tone, it's a great package!
