Wednesday afternoon driving down 249 north of houston. Guy in LT1 z28 comes up from behind with his girlfriend beside him. Both grinnin and rev it once. I thought you are going to kill me but im game. We take off at 70 mph punch. I Looked over at him and he kept peeking to his left and his girlfriend was leaning forward trying to watch. I was waiting the whole time for him to just go by me. I was 1 car legnth ahead of him at 125 and slowly pulling till he shut it off. Afterwards he stayed back about 10 car lengths till he pulled off. Felt good about my 05 black sedan with my baby's car seat in the back My wife thinks i bought a family car because im responsible. 05A/T Blk tint, injen CAI and thats it. Borla true dual coming in one week. love my G
I wonder if when that car was built it did not have the upgraded tires. Those Z28's would only go about 120 mph. The ones with upgraded tires would run about 160 mph.

The stock speed limiter in my 98 Chevy truck shut me down at 98 MPH. I added the Power Programmer and changed my tires, reset my speed limiter to 127 MPH.
It was so cool to watch my competition shut down while I kept eating up the road ahead of me.

i have a sedan. My buddy here at work has a black ss and was jumping up and down when i told him the story. He wated to race right then and defend the bow tie honor. I have zero chance against that car. I know it but my little black g-dawg did good against that z hehe
those lt1's aren't shit though....it's the newer ones with the Ls1's that you gotta watch out for
of course if u do loose to a camaro....he still has to drive home in his plastic interior, loud and rattling interior on his uncomfortable seats, while u get to go home in totally luxury
