Our car should be coming in shortly. We plan on turning the GT-R into a full race car and competing in road rallies around the world.
Yup I noticed that. Lends more credence to the results. If it was one of their writers driving the cars then the lack of confidence driving the Vette or the 911T can help explain away the times, but having a pro driver making the runs.............

hmm wonder what will happen when the zr1 gets into the playing field
I wouldn't expect the ZR1 to best the Z06 on a track like that, let alone the GT-R. The Z06 will remain the ultimate vette for the track, while the ZR1 will likely shine on the strip.
Hmmm, but because Millen is so involved with Nissan and the GT-R, there have been credibility critisisms levied against this test. I.e, Millen sandbagged on the Z06 and 911TT in order to make the GT-R look better thus helping his own company. I think the GT-R is faster than either, but that amount of time does seem a bit extraordinary....

I'm sure Porsche and GM have taken due notice of those results and will provoke or instigate other testing if they believe the results are skewed.

Reason: wierdness w/website...I didn't send that 1st message?
hahahahaha. Trust me when I say that Steve did not sand bag anything. He has been well known for testing vehicles with Road and Track and in one test a couple of years ago he ranked a Corvette 1st and a 350Z 8th out of an 8 car shoot-out.
And just a few months ago he said that the Porsche GT3 RS was one of the most fun sports cars he's ever driven.
We also talked with some of the Porsche race teams and they said that the GT-R was lapping within a second or two of their RACE CARS! And that the lap times posted for the production Porsche sounded like good times for a production Porsche. These were Porsche racers confirming the results.
