Now that part sounds the same as my car, 07 G35s 6MT sedan.
well, the new sedan is considerably quicker than the g35c. you have about 20 extra hp at the crank and weigh less. could affect the chirping of the tires i'm sure.

I just got mine last week and the first time I took my wife for a ride (and also the first time I really punched it), the back end came around just enough to let me know what she could do. The VDC kicked in and straightened me out - but I was suprized how far it let me get before kicking in. It was a straight shot going from 1st to 2nd, and wow - when those 330 hit the back wheels you really knew it!
this week I started turning the system off on my so I can have a little more fun, but I'll probably keep it on in the rain and when I have passengers.

Yah, these cars can become quite the little drift demons!!
Alright - so last night I get out of work, its been raining all afternoon, and I've been reading this thread all afternoon. Probably not a good combo; Fun, but probably not good.
First thing I do getting into my car is trun the VDC off and start screwing arond in the corners and starts. I only have 250mi on the odo, so I can't really floor it or go over 4k rpms yet and was having a hard time really getting a good spin. So I finally get to a corner that is fairly empty and give it a hard shot of gas going into 2nd - I was only at 3-3.2K when the tires broke loose and kept it going probably 20yards without having to break the 4k barrier. I LOVE THIS CAR, and cannot wait until my break-in streach is done!

it's usually a lot more intrusive than that. mine kicks in on shifts from 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 on wet roads. i would say you should definitely keep it on in the rain. when it's dry, i find it to be a drain on the car's performance.
