Ok 750, I get what you mean, just didn't know exactly what you were referring to. And to your point, I refer back to my original comment about lemmings!
Now, one last thought for the forum before anyone gets their panties in a bunch; I fully recognize that the 335i coupe is a great car. I just think it's a rather poor value. If you don't buy into the whole 'cache' of the BMW badge, I can't justify the high price differential for what it may or may not have over the G37.
personally, i don't think either one are worth their sticker price
but when i compared the two (keep in mind i did NOT drive either, so take my opinion with a grain of salt), the 335i won hands down aesthetically. some of the materials on the inside of the bimmer were lacking, but overall i felt like the bmw had a more quality feel.
i think the vids they had with the two going around the track was more telling than the article. the G37 seemed more composed around and exiting the corners while the 335i did a little bit of tail wagging. plus they pointed out that "neither one was pulling away from the other"....throw into the fact that the 335i was several thousand dollars more and "quit" after 4 laps, the prize went to the G37S...
that being said the 335i is a great car, not as confident around corners like an E46 M3 but it sure does drive very well.
do people not take into thought that BMW has the full onwership experience, meaning that everything for ur car is covered under warranty, this covers oil changes, brakes, scheduled maintances..etc. I know that doesn't cover the 8 grand difference, but it does narrow the gap. Try getting that kind of service from Infiniti, I doubt they will cover brakes like they did for 1st gen Gs
You know this might sound silly, but it's always been about how I feel with regards to my vehicle. I mean if I swung for the fences and wanted to get all sorts of attention wherever I went I could buy a Lambo or Ferrari, but honestly I'm no millionaire and work hard for my money so I can't see myself justifying that for myself yet. Especially when I don't even have kids yet, which I'm sure will cost me an arm and a leg.
So I just want to have a car that provides me with a level of refinement that I "feel" I deserve and be treated the way I "feel" I should be treated when I tell someone my car doesn't seem to "feel" right. In those cases, I don't want them to look at me like I'm crazy. I want them to look me straight in the eye and nod and just "think" I'm crazy in their own mind, but yet go and look at what I want them to look at. Then wave as they "think" all sorts of profanities at me in their minds. That's what I want. If that costs me a little more, of which I can afford, then be it. If that's something that one is not willing to pay for, then so be it. It's all gravy.

interior wise for sure the infiniti rocks out! as for straight line perfomance the 335i, all around G for sure which i get in 4 days !!! sooooo pumped!
