Not a G owner, but saying Hello.

Howzit everyone. I do not own a G35 (but wouldn't mind), but I thought I'd check this place out. I own a Subaru Forester 2.5XT and have gotten some good competition at the local dragstrip, (although I know that if the track was longer than 1/4 mile, I'd lose terribly). I know a few G35 and 350Z owners and they're really cool people. I am from the i-club forums (with other Subaru owners) and due to many recent visits from people on other boards, I thought I'd do the same and extend my greetings.

What do you think of the new Subarus? Sounds like they are getting their stuff in gear. The cars are still Subaru-looking, which in my opinion doesn't look sporty enough, but they are definately quick! I'm actually wary of meeting a new Legacy on the street...

I am really impressed by the new Legacy GTs. I would have to agree on Subarus not looking sporty enough (I drive a Forester, heh heh), but they do have some balls. I do, however, enjoy the stealthiness of driving a mommy wagon that does low 14s stock. I do not get harrassed by anybody on the street, riceboys or cops.

The Legacy is a great car. It's definately higher class than the Impreza while having the same turbocharged motor as the STi (though w/a smaller turbo) and of couse, AWD. I'd say the looks are still on the boring side, though. I'd still pimp the Legacy GT wagon though, heh heh. Black, of course.

I know what you mean about stealthiness. A couple of years back I had a Subu pull up on the side of me going up H-3 (Prelude V-Tec). I thought I needed to get some separation......nope wrong. Damn those suckers don't look that fast.

It was an educational experience.[lol]
