Default My Familys other ride...NSX..PICS

I am new to the forum and I must say it is a cool place and I have learned some good stuff. I thought some of you would enjoy this since we all drive Japanese cars and I am sure a lot of you like this one. This is my Dad's 2004 NSX and it is simply awesome! I thought I got some looks in the G35 but this is amazing since we are in Michigan and most people do not even know what it is. But real car NUTS know what it is. It corners like it is on rails and is soooo much fun to drive. Any chance I get I am out the door w/ this one and the poor G35 is left behind. Sorry.[]

Anyway I though some of you may enjoy the pic. Have a good one......

This was my Old Cl Type-S. Look how small the NSX looks vs. a regular car! This is why we call it the toy car b/c it is so small.[]

[jaw] ... I'm quite jealous ... I'm surprised to find someone that likes the NSX and is willing to spend the $$ on one living in Michigan. A few friends from Michigan tell me that cheaper imports are common enough but it's rare to find an expensive Japanese import like the NSX

Nice car Gon19s. I though briefly about an NSX...until I saw the sticker.[bigeyes]

What kind of gas mileage do you see with it?

Usually not a big fan of blue, but that is one good lookin' package up and down. Are those HRE wheels?

Thanks for all the nice comments. In fact we had some guy drooling over it @ Circuit City last night. [] But to answer a few questions:

Gas mileage is not that great since he does not drive it easy. []

Comment about the garage floor. We had it professionaly done like a firestation or a car dealer. Shiny but with some grit in it. It is so easy to keep clean. It is awesome. I just need to paint him a NSX logo on the wall. I have a Honda one on my side.

Yes the wheels are HRE. They are the HRE 547 and he got them from wheels boutique in Miami where I got my rims. I would recommened them to anyone and talk to Ben. He is the absolute best in selection, pricing, installation, offsets, knowledge, etc. I had my rims, mounted, road force tested (which is the best to have for 18"+ rims), shipped to my door w/in 5 days of ordering. The HRE take longer but they are all custom. But they are the best!

Well just took my car to the dealer to have the CD player replaced since it puked the first day I had the car. Hopefully have it back soon.[]

BTW to clear up any confusion I may have caused it is my Dad's car and not mine. But hey it is still a blast to drive and the best part is I do not have to pay for it. []

Lucky boy, how times have changed. As I started to drive, my Dad was favoring full-sized station wagons...particularly those with faux wood side panels! Although I must say, with the rear seats down, they did have their advantages...if you know what I mean! [boink]

Great-looking car! I wish Honda would have gone through with the HSC concept []

what makes you think that the HSC is not going to be in production? I've been waiting for it forever

supposedly the rumor is that the HSC concept was scrapped as will be the NSX. Only problem with that rumor is that it says the NSX/HSC will be scrapped for a smaller cheaper Porsche fighter ... which in my mind is already the S2000. Hopefully rumors are jusr rumors and the HSC will be hitting the street soon
