My wife and I took a day trip today, used up 1/2 tank of fuel. On the way home on had a chance to really open the throttle as I pulled onto GA400. I was doing about 20 mph when I floored it, the rear end squatted down and the front lifted a bit and that startled my wife. She asked me if it okay for me to do that, I said sure, that was it does when you hit the gas.

She enjoyed it almost as much as I did.

I am loving it! I have heard that the LS3 motors are under-rated in their hp, I am believing that it must be true. My Z06 was putting down right at 370 rwhp which is about what my LS3 should be putting to the ground. But I will have to say this car feels a lot stronger than my Z06 felt. I can't wait to get it put on a dyno to see the numbers on it.

I would prefer a manual myself, but I was trying to buy a car I could drive real easy. And on a plus side, it appears that the automatics are a bit faster on the dragstrips with most drivers.
