Default 2009 Mercedes SL

anyone seen one of these in person yet? i saw one at the beach today and i was shocked. the new front end looks amazing.

the only thing is the rear end has not been changed at all... i hate when car companies do that.

they look way to race oriented with that blacked out rear end. I think this is the first mercedes model that has taken a step backwards.

the front looks much more current. looks like a CL. but i agree, i dont like the tail. they just took the regular SL lights and tinted them, right?

I love the front.. haven't seen the back. I always been a sucker for Beamers and Benzs with that burgundy/red interior..

sorry guys, just not feeling the front....doesnt look as dramatic a change as I want it to. Especially when you are considering a SL 63 AMG, ,money seems better spent on a 911 turbo. Just my two cents though

this is just a refresh. this is not a whole new model. new bumper, hood, grill and headlights - that's all.

yah i like the older front end as well. but this one is so sick. they just had to update the front of this SL to keep the new theme they have across the whole line. the new e class is coming out later this year (right?)... once that happens, the frog eyes will be gone from the lineup...

Yup, Should be a completely new entry for the E-class and it seems they will look much closer to the CL and C class headlights, which does look good.
