Default The new 3 series??

So I just got my Automobile Mag and I was flipping through and found this mention and picture of a possible 2012 3 series. These are not the exact pictures, but this is what the concept render looks like:

Its pretty obvious that is concept is greatly influenced by the BMW CS concept, which is now going into production as the BMW GT. But i guess this direction makes sense, since this is BMW's new design philosophy. Im not completely sold on the look. I really like the back, but the front is still on the fence for me. I really like the CS concept because the size and proportions of the car were nice. Im not sure how this face would really look on a small car like the 3 series. I like it better than the current 3 series sedan. I guess we will eventually see what the car will be in a couple of years. Until then I believe the sedan is going to be refreshed for the 2009 model year a small face lift.

i like it. much more appealing than the current 3 series sedan which IMO looks smaller than the E46 and E36.

doesn't look too 'futuristic' either... could be released in 09 and do well.

^ by that i mean a lot of concept sketches look very wacky and too far out... i know this won't be released next year. but aesthetically it could be.

Since the C has been said to look like a mini S class, I guess BMW is trying to follow suit

But one thing about this car is it looks mean as hell.
