Gas Prices and Depreciation
Anyone see the price of SUV's, and other gas guzzling sports cars/sedans taking a dive now that gas prices are increasing so quickly????

I havent really noticed prices falling but I do know that you can't GIVE away a truck/suv in a trade now.. They will offer you a number so insulting that you'll just have to walk off the lot

new and used..but mainly used. For example..a low mileage E63 AMG would go for about 60k....i wonder if theyd take 50k due to the circumstances

If you have the jack to afford the gas, it's becoming a good time to buy a used SUV or truck at a nice price.

When I bought my coupe in January I was talking to the sales manager waiting, for my car, and he said sales of the new Q whatever huge Infiniti SUV had been pretty stable. I know prices have spiked since then, but if you have the $$ to afford that beast then filling it up probably is not a real worry. I think it stickered around 10/16 mpg(?)

i dont think so. high lines are not as affected as the trucks and things like suburbans. if you can afford an E63, you can afford $4.00 a gallon.

i have heard that resale values of ALL cars are expected to take a big dip. not because of gas prices, but because of the whole "recession" crisis.
