well...i like the 1.

1Addicts.com | BMW 1-Series Community

i drove a couple with a buddy at the bmw dealership, say what you want but the thing is a rocket. I am sort of slanted towards the 335 asthetics, but thats only because the 1 really is bottom line beemer.

besides, we all drive our little japanese pocket rockets in here, so i mean...wouldn't no rattles and an actually decent drivetrain sound like a good break anyway?

Personally, I like what the 135i is on paper. Light (well pretty much compared to what's out there these days), nimble, and powerful. I just don't get excited about the design/styling, but you just can't argue with a small car with lots of power. I just wish Bimmer would get back to it's roots and stop dialing in so much damn understeer into their cars so that Joe Shmoe and Jane Rottencrotch don't go into the ditch.

Totally agree. There's just nothing elegant about a pitbull.
