Thumbs down 2009 Maxima

Anyone get a look at this thing??? It looks like a ES350 crashed into a G35 sedan and sideswiped by a Honda Accord...

interior is nice though.. and I like the buckets in the back. I loved the elite package they had in 2004 with four buckets and a center console in the back.

overall it's not too bad aside from those f*cked up headlights... but that seems to be the trend with nissan.

Somebody needs to write a letter to the Max's design team and politely suggest they lay off that crack pipe.

I'm surprised no one said anything about the GT-R influenced front. I could see it looking pretty bad ass in black and modded.

What is it with a lot of the new car designs, where they have to have those heavy, bulging crease lines over the wheel wells...looks so utilitaran..like the front of a Jeep Wrangler or the front of the old '72 Javelin-AMX. I see it on the Camry, the RX-8, Lexus LS, this Maxima, the S-class MB ??? What gives..are they just trying to look all muscular or something??

Oh yah...it looks really big too!

The front looks more influenced by a collision with a brick wall than a GT-R.. and who the fvck is modding a Maxima anyway??

I wouldn't waste my time and money, if theres people modding altimas there will definitely be people modding these. Maybe I'm crazy but I think the tails look 350Z.

I see ES350 in the tails.. from the straight ahead front looks just like an 08 Accord.. that being said, I've always like Maximas but haven't like a new generation when I first saw it since the 89 version. Every time they do a full make over I hate it because I loved the one before it so much, but they always grow on me. Still be best drivers sedan in that Accord/Camry/Maxima/Etc battle for my money.. can't argue with the VQ

the last gen had to grow on me.....this one might take some time too

btw, for roughly the same money, the max comes more loaded with features than the G
