They have been knocking on the door since the first G back in 03. BMW upped the performance ante though and put a little distance back between them. Problem is, Infiniti has no competitor for the 5 or 7 series. Need to get the M/Q back in the fold! Gotta compete with more than just the 3 if they wnna have equal badge prestige.

yes they do.

the M45 competes with the 5 series and if they bring back the Q that will compete with the 7series.

now i want Infiniti to come something to compete with M.

a luxury name for Nismo

the Q was lame though. it's just a "nicer" maxima. they need something better than that to compete with the 7 series.

I dont count the M as a 5 competitor.. not that its not a nice car, I actually like them. Thing is, when people shop for 3 series, the G is a consideration. When they are shopping for 5's, the M is not.

+1 on the luxury nismo. Seems ou gotta have one of those nowadays (V, F, M, AMG, A-Spec, SRT, you name it.. everyone has one)

well im pretty sure when they bring it back Q it wont be a facelift like previous infiniti's. since 2002 infiniti has stepped their game up big time as you know as well

i doubt the Q will be anything like it was before

+1 the M is nice but it's not a true competitor for the 5 like the E Class and A6 are.

and the Q has left much to be desired. it has been little more than competition for the acura RL and runner up to the Lexus LS for pretty much all of it's life.
