It looks like they had a company bar night for Nissan & Infiniti dudes. They got sh1tfaced and started arguing about their new design for the Max. They started a cage fight and by the looks of the final product they're about even in terms of damage done.

^^ i don't see what's so bad about it. the headlights are tacky, but otherwise it's a good design.

to me the headlights gives the Z more of a sporty edge. the edge thats been lacking and has been the reaso nfor me not caring for the Z's looks and loving the G's

the lights brings a sharpness to the Z thats been missing

However, I ran across something else, it looks like the new 370Z will get the same god awful headlights.

that's just a photoshop/illustration... i doubt it will look anything like that pic. it looks far too similar to the current Z. it would look incredibly outdated as a 2010 model.

omg I hope thats not the final design of the 370Z. Those headlight are awful and those two large teeth have to go

i dont like the headlights, they're disgusting.

i dont like the taillights, they look like wannabe new-camry taillights, except that the camry actually looks good.

the rest looks good. i think if they change the headlights, i will be good. definitely looks better than the new accord sedan.

saw one of these 09 maximas on the road Saturday. Pictures do it no justice this thing is HOT! If I was in the market for a jap sedan right now just based on looks this would be it. Headlights look nowhere near as funky as the do in the magazines. Even willing to overlook the FWD thing. I'm eager to see the new TL now to see how it compares. I've been seeing spy photos of it.. Looks like it'll be a good battle

yeah i saw one a week ago and have to agree... its an amazing looking car for the money.
hoenstly, it seems like it should have an Infiniti badge, not Nissan.... oo and also what's up with Nissan offering 19's for the new max but not on the G sedan?????
