It's a WHOLE lot better looking than any of the new 3,5,or 7 series BMW's. I'll reserve judgement against the 6 series until I see one in person. Are they in showrooms now?

the new audis and mercedes are way better than the new bmws. the new bmws are just not what they used to be.

I generallyagree, with the exception of the new S class and CLS class MB styling. I can't get comfortable with their large, simplistic arc form. But I've seen their cars grow on me as the models age and I get used to them.

Totally agree there. the last BMW I really found attractive was the E38 7-series (95-01). The 3's and 5's aroung that time were ok, but not nearly as elegant.

I'll definitely have to go see the S5 in person. They didn't have them just a few months ago when I was shopping for my wife's car... the G37. I think she would have liked the S5...I'd better go see it alone now!

Agreed...Audi's are starting to become manufacturer of the best looking cars. Only problem, weight and power.

If Mercedes can make a 330+ hp engine in the new C class (besides that ridiculous C63) that would be a top seller. It would be more of an answer for the S4 and the 335...sucks that if you want a c class yo have to buy it all from the looks stand point seeing that the engine isnt great...although the 270hp C350 is about as fast as a G35.

i'm not a huge fan of the CLS either. but the new S i do like. everything they have right now looks pretty good. i like the direction they took the new C. and the new E looks to be really hot!

the last bimmer i really liked was the E39 (early 2000's) 5 series. but the E46 was a whole lot classier looking than the new 3'er.

it's probably the best thing audi has put out in quite a while.

Nah, it's like this:

6 series = nice
3 series = ok
5 series = eh
7 series = turd

furthermore, a small clarification: 'BMW' (and not just M6) shouldn't really ever be used in the same sentence as 'value' unless it's used in the negative as you've done.

That is all.

i'm not a fan of the 6 series. in fact, i'd much rather an M5 over an M6. The 6 series looks so bloated that it's impossible to achieve the aggressive/sporty look i think they wanted. it looks like a whale.
