They are saying that Cadillac is scrambling to get together this CTS coupe after all the attention it received at the Auto Shows. They are figuring 3 trims from what i have read....306hp V6....430hp V8 (vette motor) 550hp CTS-V.
I could see some serious interest in these cars a long as they are priced right, it is supposed to go after the 3 series coupes and the A5/S5's. If they bring the heat with those serious V8's i could see myself rocking one.
IMHO, it'd be a great car only if they had somebody else design the entire car. The thing looks like a box, or better a wedge, on wheels. From the back, it almost looks like I'm following Jack-In-the-Box home for work.

i think the CTS looks awesome from the front. but wheni see it from the side its ugly. as the cabin gets towards the back doors the Car looks weird and oddly shaped. its ugly from the side
Personally, if two cars look good, like for example the S5 and 335....the S5 is probably the better looking car in most peoples opinion. But if the 335 had 450hp and was only a few thousand more...i'd get the 335. I'd rather have the badder car..rather than the more badass looking car. Nothing worse than having a fast car and its really slow...(G35 coupes)
i just saw another G37 has the CTS doesnt look better. the front end of the CTS is meaner than the G37's but as a whole the G37 looks better.
and the CTS V most likely will only have different rims and a CTS-V badge.
i doubt the CTS V will look different from the reg CTS bedsides the things i mentioned
They always have front and rear fascia's that are different....this CTS-V hood will be different o accomodate the supercharged big block. It will also have 8 piston front and 6 piston rear brake as well as 19's or 20's. Did i mention a blown BIG BLOCK....!!

ok so a bigger hood, different rims and a CTS-V badge. but we are talking looks though. as i said i think the CTS looks awesome from the from but from the side. it looks extremely awkward.
maybe it wont with the Coupe version but the sedan CTS V looks weird from the side.

wow. for once, i am in complete agreeance with you. the CTS V coupe is a great idea, but that design just doesn't cut it. it IS awkward looking from the side. it's mainly the slope of the rear glass - makes it look like a wedge of cheese.

actually i think that we agreed on something not to long ago cant remember the thread or topic though
its like Caddy's designer put the hard work in designing the front end(which is mean as hell) and just said fuck it when it came to the side and rear of the car.

I would think CTS-V version would most likely compete with the M3.

you dont have to spend that much more on the 335 and you can get in the 430hp range.
